Our Wedding - Getting Ready and Ceremony

Our wedding was May 30, 2009 and was more than I could have ever dreamed of. Our ceremony was at Trinity Reformed and our reception was at The University Center Club. Here are some of my favorite pictures by Studio Heart. Remember that you can click any picture to enlarge it!

Our Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner

Our rehearsal was held at the church we got married in, Trinity Reformed, and our rehearsal dinner was held at Chez Pierre on May 29, 2009. The practice went perfect, the food was delicious, and the company was even better. I asked a talented friend, Sarah Burke, to take pictures for me.

It rained the entire day and while we were at the church, but stopped raining for dinner (and wedding day!) This was exactly how the weather acted for my sister, Jessica, during her wedding weekend.

Here are some of my favorite pictures:

Our last night on the Honeymoon and flight home

We loved Spice so much, we ate there again on our last night.

We woke up early the next morning to head to the airport. We got to the Cancun airport with no problem and no delays. As we walked in, each person was scanned to check temperatures in regards to possible swine flu cases. The people who were checking temps were dressed in all white jump suits with full masks over there faces. We also had to fill out a quick questionnaire asking if we had a cough or other symptoms. We got to our area with plenty of time to eat at Bubba Gumps.

From Cancun, we flew to Miami. We saw the sun set from the sky, and when we got over Miami, we could see flooded streets. It was quite a sight, and due to weather conditions, our next flight was delayed. Instead of getting into Orland around 8:00pm, we landed at 10:00pm.

We had a private shuttle back to our hotel, and walked in to use the bathroom and charge our phones. We decided to go ahead and get on the road. We missed our Meatball so much! We had a four hour drive back to Tallahassee, and pulled home around 3:00am. This is what was waiting for us when we got home! :)

We had an amazing time on our honeymoon! If you are looking for an all inclusive vacay, we definitely recommend Excellence Playa Mujeres!
